Advanced Smiles Marion is offering free dental care to children through the Give Kids A Smile program. The Give Kids A Smile program is a collaborative effort among the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and other state and local dental societies throughout the U.S. to provide dental care and oral health education to children without dental insurance.

Advanced Smiles Marion, the office of Dr. Kyle Bogan, will offer free dental care to children on September 24 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. as part of the Give Kids A Smile program. Services offered will be a free teeth cleaning, oral health exam, oral health education and x-rays.

Children under 18 years old without dental insurance will be seen at this event in order to help families who may struggle to provide dental care for their children. The office is located at 1269 Delaware Avenue, Marion, Ohio 43302. Patients will be seen on a first- come first served basis.

“The benefits of oral health extend far beyond having a white smile. Oral health can impact our immune system, our bone structure, and even our sleep. Our economy has been unpredictable over the past year and we want to provide an opportunity for children to get the help they need at no cost to the parents,” said Dr. Kyle Bogan, DDS.

Through the Give Kids A Smile program, dentists and dental professionals across the state and nation volunteer their time to provide screenings, treatments and oral health education to children. Across Ohio, more than $16 million in donated dental care and oral health education has been provided through 18 years of Give Kids A Smile. This year, more than 2,500 dentists, dental professionals and educators will volunteer to educate children about good oral health and provide dental services to over 61,000 Ohio children.
