Give Kids A Smile: Advanced Smiles Marion offers free dental care to children without insurance

Advanced Smiles Marion is pleased to offer free dental care to children as part of the Give Kids A Smile program. This program is a joint effort among the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and other state and local dental societies throughout the U.S. to provide dental care and oral health education to children without dental insurance.

On April 29, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Advanced Smiles Marion, led by Dr. Kyle Bogan, will provide free teeth cleaning, oral health exams, oral health education, and x-rays to children under 18 years old without dental insurance. This event is an excellent opportunity for families who may struggle to provide dental care for their children to receive quality dental services.

The Give Kids A Smile program is a valuable initiative that provides dental care to underserved children across the United States. Through the program, dentists and dental professionals across the country volunteer their time to provide screenings, treatments, and oral health education to children. Across Ohio, more than $16 million in donated dental care and oral health education has been provided through 18 years of Give Kids A Smile. This year, more than 2,500 dentists, dental professionals, and educators will volunteer to educate children.

The economic uncertainties of the past year have made it challenging for many families to provide dental care for their children.
